Sydnee Stein

Sydnee Stein is a seasoned business development professional with over fifteen years of experience in the highly competitive financial services arena. For the past eight years, Sydnee has specialized in commercial banking. She focuses on developing strong relationships between businesses, nonprofits and the community and providing education and training on bank financing and cash management.

As a vice president of business development at EagleBank, Sydnee established and built strong, personalized relationships with customers in order to identify their needs and then utilized the bank’s competitive, flexible services to provide them with financial guidance and solutions that help them meet their objectives. Her proudest moments are those when she can help a local business owner grow by making an introduction or by caring enough to find out exactly what they need to succeed, and then helping them get it. Her ability to help business owners was celebrated in the March, 2011 edition of SmartCEO Magazine where Sydnee was named one of the top 100 commercial bankers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Before joining the EagleBank team, Sydnee excelled as a vice president and branch manager at the Bank of Georgetown and a business banking officer and client financial analyst at Citibank. Prior to banking, Sydnee assisted high net worth clients with their wealth management needs.

Sydnee began her education with plans to become a flute performance major and was then distracted by the prospect of travel and foreign languages. Sydnee earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas focusing on music, Spanish and French and completed the Certified Financial Planner certificate program at Georgetown University. She is a member of the Columbia Flute Choir and enjoys playing the flute as often as she can. Sydnee is also the founder of DC BizWorks, a networking club for entrepreneurial women looking to build strong personal friendships while developing meaningful business connections. Sydnee is an avid supporter of the Women President’s Educational Organization, a charter member of Success in the City, a proud member of the McLean Orchestra’s Board of Trustees and a huge fan of her beloved Dallas Cowboys. A native Texan, Sydnee enjoys the endless search for the best Tex-Mex food in Washington, DC as often as possible.
