us for an evening of inspirational
music including Mozart’s
Piccolomini Mass
and ending with Mendelssohn’s symphonic
tribute to the Protestant Reformation.
The McLean Orchestra joins forces
with an accomplished choir to
give voice to Mozart’s heavenly
strains and the famous hymn that
Mendelssohn wove into the last
movement of his symphony. In this
final concert of the season we
also celebrate Mozart’s 250th birthday
with his festive Symphony No. 34.
