McLean Orchestra celebrates its 35th Anniversary with a Benefit Recital Celebration
On November 12, 2006 at 5:00 PM the McLean Orchestra will celebrate 35 years of great music. Concertmaster Regino Madrid will be joined by renowned keyboard artist Lisa Emenheiser to kick off the celebration at St. Francis Episcopal Church located at 9220 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, VA 22066, just five miles from our concert venue.
Mr. Madrid joined the McLean Orchestra last season as concertmaster, he is also a violinist with the “President’s Own” U.S. Marine White House Orchestra. Ms. Emenheiser is adjunct pianist for the National Symphony Orchestra, as well as pianist for the 21st Century Consort and Opus 3 Trio.
Immediately following the recital, patrons will have the pleasure of a private reception with Burnett Thompson Music, a member of the Washington Life “Hot List” for 2006. Burnett Thompson Music represents the best pianists in the Washington area and nationally.
Throughout the evening guests will have a chance to view showcases from exhibitors, such as Southern Living, Tastefully Simple, Gold Canyon Candles, and Linda’s Creations, who will be displaying and selling fall holiday gifts.
